Itinerary
Day 1: Vientiane Arrival & City Tour
Upon arrival at Wattai National airport, you will be transferred to your hotel to check-in and settle in. In the afternoon, you will be taken to visit some of the most iconic places in Vientiane. First, you will visit Vat Sisaket, which is the only original temple in Vientiane, having been built in 1818 and miraculously survived a Thai invasion in 1828. Next, you will visit the Ho Phrakeo, which is the former Royal Chapel where an Emerald Buddha dating back to the time of the Lane Xang Kingdom was enshrined. Then, you will explore the Patouxai and That Luang stupa (The Symbol of LAO PDR). After a full day of sightseeing, you will be taken back to your hotel, where you can rest and reflect on the amazing sights that you have seen.

Day 2: Deeper Exploration of Vientiane City Tour
After Breakfast begin your day by visiting the National Museum (formerly known as the Lao Revolutionary Museum). This museum contains artifacts and photos from the Pathet Lao’s lengthy struggle for power. It’s an excellent resource for understanding the Lao people’s fight against the French, as well as their current government.
