Itinerary

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar Arrival and Hotel Check In

You will leave London Heathrow Airport for your outbound flight to Chinggis Khan International Airport, via Incheon International Airport. On arrival at Chinggis Khan International Airport you will be greeted by your driver with your name plate in the arrivals section of the airport. From here you will be driven to your 4* Bishrelt Hotel. This will be your hotel for the duration of your stay and breakfast will be included for the next seven mornings.

Days 2-6: Free Time to Explore Ulaanbaatar & Optional Tours

Full Day Private Jeep Tour to Elsen Tasarkhai, Semi-Gobi

This tour offers an exciting chance to explore Gobi, the closest destination to tourists. It is a one-day tour, perfect for those who are short on time. Along the way, you will get to visit a monastery of Buddha, experience the nomadic lifestyle of a Mongolian herder family, and even take a camel ride with the help of a local guide. Option 8

1 Day Semi-Gobi Tour with Lunch and Camel or Horseback Ride

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar and driven to the stunning Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes. On the way, you will be served lunch at an appropriate spot. This area is home to hundreds of birds, deer, and gazelle. You will have a chance to explore the small sand dunes nearby with a camel and go hiking for a few hours. Afterward, you will meet a local nomad family to gain insight into their culture and traditions. Once the tour is finished, you will be transferred back to Ulaanbaatar.

 

Option 9

Wildlife Watching Day Tour at Hustai National Park

Visiting Hustai National Park in the afternoon provides the perfect opportunity to learn more about Perzevalski’s horse (Takhi), the Mongolian wild horse, as well as the unique mountain and steppe landscape. Taking a short drive and walking tour will allow us to observe these endangered horses in their natural habitat and take photos of them. Additionally, the National Park is hugely diverse in terms of flora and fauna, with species such as Siberian marmots, red deer, wild sheep, Mongolian gazelles, cinerous vultures, golden eagles, saker falcons and Amur falcons all living in the area.

 

Option 10

Day Coach Tour of Aglag Buteel Monastery and Meditation Centre Including Lunch

Located 16 km west of Bornuur soum in Tuv territory, the monastery stands in front of the Dalyn Khavtsal Mountain. Crafted by Buddhist craftsman and lama G. Purevbat, the monastery was built for reflection, teaching, and bookmaking. The entrance is guarded by Garuda griffin, which is laying its 8 eggs, and a beaver with a fish head. Inside, a heaven cloister and Buddha picture are placed in a position of honour while Yanjinlkhama goddess is on the right wall and the heaven and damnation sketches are on the left wall. A large stone in the monastery holds the statues of a gecko and a Scorpion. Outside, a special street with a tranquil atmosphere is perfect for contemplation, gifts, and anyone who wants to understand the link between humans and nature, give back to the Earth, and cleanse their mind and soul.

Option 11

A Day Trekking to Tsetsee Gun Peak

Explore the stunning natural beauty of the legendary Bogd Khan Mountain on this exclusive trekking adventure to Tsetse Gun, the mountain’s highest point. Embark on a journey across wooded mountain terrain up to the top for a breath-taking view of the city of Ulaanbaatar and its surroundings. Day 7: Departure Flight

If time allows, enjoy free time to explore the city, shop for souvenirs, or opt for another tour before you depart! Later, be greeted by your driver at the 4* Bishrelt Hotel for your return transfer back to Chinggis Khan International Airport. Savour the sights of Ulaanbaatar on your transfer, before catching your flight back to London Heathrow Airport, via Incheon International Airport.
