This 7-day Vietnam travel package tour to Hanoi, Vietnam gives a real glimpse into the culture and history of this diverse country. Leaving from London Gatwick Airport travellers will depart for Hanoi with a short stop at Shanghai Pudong Airport for the connecting flight to Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi. From here you will be met by your driver and transferred to Hotel du Parc situated next to Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung District and close to major areas in Hanoi. The hotel comes with very spacious rooms and sauna included in the rooms for your luxury stay in the city for the duration of the package tour.

Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival & Hotel Check in
You will travel from London Gatwick airport to Hanoi via Shanghai Pudong Airport. On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be picked up by your driver with name plate and be transferred to the Hotel Du Parc in Hanoi opposite Thong Nhat Park. You will be situated a little away from the busy crowds in the comfort of your luxury room with sauna included in the price and breakfast for all six mornings of your stay in the city.
Day 2-6: Free Time to Explore Hanoi & Optional Tours
This is where you the traveller will have complete control over how your time is spent during your time in Hanoi. Determine your own Vietnam trip itinerary during this Vietnam travel package! Below is a detailed list of available tours in and around Hanoi.
Hanoi City Tour – This tour includes Temple of Literature, a temple dedicated to Confucius Gods and was Vietnam’s first ever university for over 700 years. Also includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and Hanoi Opera House.
Hanoi Art Tour – On this tour you will see the Fine Arts Museum, Manzi Art Space & Cafe, Hanoi’s Ceramic Mosaic Mural Street Art and even attend a Vietnamese Lacquer Class.
Street Food walking tour – This tour is a street food tour of the Old Quarter featuring many traditional Vietnamese dishes such as Pho (Beef Noodle Broth Soup), Bun Cha (Grilled Pork with Vermicelli Noodles), Lau (Vietnamese Hot pot with various vegetables and meats or seafood), and Banh Xeo (crispy crepe traditional filled with pork, shrimp and beansprouts).
Street food tour by motorbike (best at night) – Hanoi really comes into its own at night and the nightlife is quite intoxicating and a happy time for locals after the main workday is done. Street foods in the capital are at their busiest and the tour guides really do cater it to your food preferences for that authentic personal touch and all reached on the back of the motorbike to give travellers a completely different look at life in Hanoi.
Hanoi Old Quarter tour – The Old Quarter is such a historical place that you could spend days exploring it. Full of hidden alleys and gems to enjoy from food and drink to unusual souvenirs and quirky street food stalls. The locals are also so obliging and happy to help all travellers. This is the real side of Hanoi and full of enriching experiences.
Haon Kiem Lake Activities – This lake is a step away from the crowded are of the Old Quarter and a place of peace and tranquillity. The Lake has a calming effect and is visited in the morning for Yoga and Tai Chi sessions by locals. There can also be a variety of Vietnamese board games and sports being played as well, giving a real insight into traditional Vietnamese ways of life.
Hanoi Opera House – The Hanoi Opera House is home to some of Vietnam’s most acclaimed theatrical and musical performances. It has hosted performances by renowned artists from around the world, including Vietnam’s own renowned opera singers and dancers. The building is also used for conferences, lectures, and other events.
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – he Mausoleum was built in 1975, six years after Ho Chi Minh’s death, and it serves as a memorial to him and his legacy. It is modeled after Lenin’s Mausoleum in Moscow and includes a large statue of Ho Chi Minh in the center of the monument. Inside, his embalmed body lies in a glass sarcophagus surrounded by a guard of honor.
Vietnam Museum of Ethnology – The museum is divided into several sections, including sections on Prehistoric Peoples, Ethnic Groups of Vietnam, and the History of Vietnam. Visitors can learn about the history of Vietnam and its ethnic minorities through photographs, sculptures, and other artifacts. The museum also includes a library, where visitors can find more detailed information about the different ethnicities in Vietnam.
Imperial Citadel of Thang Long – It was built in a rectangular shape with five main gates and several smaller gates. The main gate is the ‘Hien Nhon’ Gate, which is decorated with intricate carvings and sculptures. Inside the citadel are a number of monuments and artifacts, including the Flag Tower, which was built in 1805 and is the tallest structure in the complex; the Kinh Thien Palace, which was once the residence of the King; and the Hanoi Citadel Citadel Wall, which is a series of defensive walls that were built to protect the citadel from invaders.
Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum – The museum has an impressive collection of works from renowned Vietnamese artists, including Nguyen Gia Tri, Nguyen Phan Chanh, and Le Pho. It also displays works from international artists, such as Andy Warhol, Marc Chagall, and Salvador Dali.
Halong Bay Cruise – The cruise will usually begin in the city of Hanoi, where you will be taken to the port in Halong Bay. Once you arrive, the cruise will start, with the boat taking you through the bay and around its many islands. Depending on the type of cruise, you can expect to visit a number of different attractions, such as the limestone caves, fishing villages, and the Thien Cung and Dau Go Caves.
Hanoi Craft Villages Tour – Van Phuc silk village, Bat Trang ceramic village with hands-on activity, Dong Ho folk painting and votive paper making
Ninh Binh Day Tours – The tours usually begin with a visit to the Tam Coc Caves, where visitors can take a boat ride through the limestone karsts and admire the stunning scenery. You can then continue onto the Bai Dinh Temple Complex and partake in the activities of kayaking, biking, rock climbing and exploring tombs.

Day 7: Free Morning & Departure Flight
There will be a free morning to enjoy and last parts you want to see or visit your favourite place in the city for one last slice of the Hanoi vibe before your afternoon departure flight back to the UK. Like how you arrived you will have a brief stop in Shanghai before your last connecting flight back to London Gatwick Airport.
