Day 1: Taipei Arrival & Hotel Check in

With this Taiwan travel package, you will leave London Heathrow airport for your outbound flight to Taipei via Beijing Capital Airport.  You will arrive at Taipei late afternoon and be met be your driver for transfer to the Luxurious five-star Grand Hyatt Hotel, and its fantastic proximity opposite the Taipei 101 Tower. This landmark is one of the must-see sites in Taipei and the view from the observation deck is simply one that must be seen rather than described.

Day 2-6: Taipei Optional Tours (at travellers’ expense)

This is where this Taiwan travel package gives travellers all the room for plenty of options at their fingertips and complete control over your holiday and time spent during your visit to Taiwan.

We recommend that you choose from the many examples during your Taiwan travel such as:

Taipei City Tour with National Museum – On this tour you will visit Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Matyrs’ Shrine and The National Palace Museum. You will pass by Presidential Office Building and The Grand Hotel Taipei for a photo stop.

Taipei at night Din Tai Fung Dinner & street night market guided tour – on this tour you will visit the Taipei 101 Mall, Roahe Street Night Market, Rainbow Bridge and Songshan Ciyou Temple. You will also enjoy the famous Xiaolongbao at the Michelin Bib Gourmand Selection Restaurant for a traditional Din Tai Fung Dinner.

Yehliu Geopark & Keelung Harbour – On this tour you will visit the key sites Chung Cheng Park, Keelung Maritime plaza (with Keelung Harbour View), Guihou Fishing Village, and Yehliu Geopark, with its impressive rock formations.

Jiufen Village & Northeast Coast – On this tour you see the Nanya Natural Rock Formations and enjoy the charm of picturesque Jiufen Village. On the way there you will also pass by Bay of Two Colors and have a photo stop at the Jinguashi remains of the 13 levels.

Pingxi Sky Lantern & Shifen Waterfall – This iconic tour will include taking the authentic experience of Shifen Old Street, Shifen Railway Station, Shifen Waterfall and the stunning scenery surroundings. Thousand Island Lake & Pinglin Tea Plantation – This is a tour full of wonderful scenery and more photo opportunities than any traveller could need. There will be plenty of tea tasting at the Bagua Tea Plantation & Pinglin Tea Museum. You will also appreciate the views of the Thousand Island Lake and its colourful flowers & fauna species. Classic Taipei Landmarks Tour – This long 9 hour tour includes everything that is important in the city of Taipei itself and will leave you feeling satisfied with a very cultural day. During your visit to Taiwan, you will visit National Palace Museum, Dadaocheng, Cheng-en Gate, Dihua Old Street, Lungshan Temple, Ximending Commercial District, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial (with guard mounting ceremony included) and Taipei 101 Mall (no observation ticket).

Beitou & Yangmingshan Day Tour – This 9 hour tour will immerse you into the impact of volcanic areas and the hot springs and communities within the areas. You will visit Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Geothermal Valley, Yangmingshan Flower Clock, Zhuzihu, Xiaoyoukeng Recreation Area, Qingtiangang, and Longshuikeng Recreation Area for a hot spring foot bath. You will also have photo stops at Taipei Public library in Beitou and Yangmingshuwu.

Pinglin Tea Culture & Elephant Mountain Tour – On this extensive day tour you will marvel at the views around the Thousand Island Lake, visit a local tea shop for a true tasting experience, enjoy the local delights of Shenkeng Tofu Street, and the rural areas of Pinglin, and Shiding districts as well as the impressive panoramic views from the top of Elephant Mountain.

Taroko Gorge Tour – Taroko Gorge is the world’s biggest marble gorge and full of marble cliff views and many hiking trails and Taroko National Park with all its unique life within. You will travel on the train and pass through Chimu Bridge, Tunnel of Nine Turns, Eternal Spring Shrine and the grand enbus archway to Taroko Gorge. You will also see Swallow Grotto, Marble Factory, Shakadang Trail and Qixingtan pebble beach.

Taichung Instagram Tour – This tour takes 11 hours and will be full of photo opportunities for your travels, which is ideal if you like to document your travels through photos. The tour includes Chung-she Flower Garden, Painted Animation Lane, Miyahara, and the beautiful Gaomei Wetland. There will also be a photo stop at National Taichung Theater. This is a unique tour you could try during your visit to Taiwan.

Day 7: Free Morning & Departure Flight

There will be time for some last-minute sightseeing or time to buy some souvenirs to remember your travels in Taiwan before your departure flight home. Check out from the hotel at 12pm or later if you wish (but this will cost extra) and your driver will collect from the Grand Hyatt for your departure flight from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport via Beijing Capital Airport and back to London Heathrow.
