Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Siem Reap & Cycle the Siem Reap Backroad
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel to relax by the pool or to venture out for your first exploration of this ancient city. Your guide will then meet you at the hotel for a trip briefing before embarking on your first exploration of the beautiful Siem Reap backroads. Enjoy a memorable cycle ride of approx. 20 km (12 miles) along dirt roads, picturesque country lanes, rural villages, lush rice paddies, and even the local market! Later return to the hotel for a flavoursome meal consisting of authentic and creative Cambodian cuisine.

Day 2: Angkor Temples: A Beautiful Cycle Ride
After breakfast, start your total daily 35 km (22 miles) cycling with the thrilling morning temple exploration. First, you will discover Ta Prohm, which is unique in that it has been left largely as it was found: overgrown by jungle trees and vines, offering a glimpse into the past. You will then head out to the ancient city of Angkor Thom and enter the city through the impressive ancient gate. Continue to Bayon Temple, located in the centre of the city, and famed as the enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire. Later, stop at the local restaurant to enjoy tasteful Cambodian dishes, before biking to the breath-taking gem of the Angkor complex, Angkor Wat. Following your tour leader, you will be mesmerized by the rich history and symbolism of this unique ancient temple.

Day 3: Banteay Samre & Banteay Srei: A Picturesque Cycle
Today we will cycle 45 km (28 miles). Start your ride on a flat path to the Temple of Banteay Samre before discovering the Temple of Banteay Srei – a beautiful temple made of pink sandstone located outside of the city. The roads are peaceful, picturesque, and narrow the whole way to Bantey Srei. Before our arrival, take a rest break in the shade of a tree. Bantey Srei is renowned for being the ‘Citadel of Women’. It is one of Angkor’s most significant structures, its walls adorned with intricate carvings, which have been surprisingly well preserved.

Day 4: Tonle Sap Lake: Floating Village & Sunset Cruise
Cycle 45 km (28 miles) today and immerse yourself in the picturesque beauty of Tonle Sap Lake! Take a bike ride and boat tour around the lake for an outdoor adventure through the countryside of Siem Reap. Visit a floating village to get a glimpse into the lives of the Cambodian locals and how they have adapted to living on the water. Wrap up the day with stunning views of the sunset and some snacks and cold drinks in hand. Return to the city in a private car later in the evening.

Day 5: Siem Reap Departure
There are no activities on your final day, your time is at leisure until your transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight.
