At 6 PM, your evening adventure in Saigon will begin. You’ll be riding on the back of a Scooter, exploring the bustling city and indulging in the local cuisine. Your first stop will be Chinatown, followed by a visit to a local evening market. Next, you’ll head to the famous Ho Thi Ky wholesale flower market. Day 4 – Ho Chi Minh: Uncover Nam Cat Tien National Park
Your driver will pick you up today and take you to Nam Cat Tien National Park. Upon arrival, you will have lunch at a local restaurant and take a short break before embarking on a bike ride along a rough path, covering a distance of at least 5 kilometers. This will give you the chance to observe the diverse wildlife and plants in the park. The park covers nearly 74,000 hectares and is divided into two sections by a river. It is home to a variety of endangered species, such as the Javan rhinoceros, Siamese crocodile, and Indochina tiger. The park is also known for its large bird population, with over 300 species identified so far.
After this, you will return to your hotel for some rest. In the evening, after dinner, you will go on a one-hour jeep night cruise into the forest to spot some of the wild animals living in their natural habitat. Equipped with a good pair of binoculars, you may be able to spot monkeys, deer, and other small mammals.

Day 5 – Nam Cat Tien: Hike to Crocodile Lake
Start your day by embarking on a 9 km Jeep ride before embarking on a 3 km hike through the lush rainforest to reach Crocodile Lake. Once there, take a peaceful rowing trip on the water and observe the beautiful bird species that call this park home.

Day 7 – Ho Chi Minh: Journey to Cao Lanh
You will have the morning to relax until check out time at approximately 12:00pm. After checking out and enjoying some lunch, we will depart from Ho Chi Minh City and head towards Cao Lanh. After a 3-hour drive, we will arrive at Tam Nong Bird Parks, also known as ‘Tram Chim.’ This is the perfect time to witness the birds returning home and take in the beautiful sunset over the Mekong area. During a 2-hour boat ride, you will be surrounded by lush green landscapes and blooming flowers, including vibrant pink lotuses. This area is also a popular breeding spot for many bird species.
Established in 1999 and covering 7,600 hectares, Tram Chim National Park spans over seven communes in Tam Nong District, Dong Thap province. What sets this park apart as one of the best in Vietnam is its unique ecosystem. Every year for up to seven months, the area is completely flooded. As the rainy season begins in June, the water level rises and reaches its peak in October, submerging the entire park in 2 to 4 meters of water. The best time to visit Tram Chim is during sunrise or sunset, when you can witness the breathtaking views.

Day 8 – Cam Tho: Experience Local Life
Our day in Can Tho, the Capital of Mekong Delta, will begin after breakfast as we leave Cao Lanh. It’s approximately a 2-hour drive to reach this bustling city. As soon as we arrive, we’ll head to Con Son, a small islet that is home to about 80 local households in the Mekong region. Our first stop on the islet will be a fish raft on the Hau River, where we’ll have the unique opportunity to not only see a simple fish raft but also experience Uncle Bay’s passion for collecting various types of fish. He’ll share his stories with us on how he trains and raises the fish, leaving us amazed and inspired. We also shouldn’t forget to try the ‘Foot massage with Kol,’ a local treat that’s sure to be refreshing.
Afterward, we’ll visit some nearby fruit orchards, where we’ll get the chance to pick and enjoy fruits straight from the trees like rambutans, guava, and rose apples (depending on the season). Our next stop will be at a local house, where we’ll learn how to make traditional cakes and even join in on the process if possible. This will give us a taste of the local culture and the warm hospitality of Can Tho.
