Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

  • Todays highlights include a visit to the popular tourist hub and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Durbar Square. This destination is the perfect balance of historical importance, exquisite architecture, and vibrant bazaars.
  • On arrival meet your guide and transfer to your hotel for lunch. During the afternoon enjoy a tour of Swayambhunath stupa and continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the temple of the living goddess Kumari, Kal Bhairav, and the Bazaar of Indra Chwok, Ason, and Thamel.
  • While wandering through the maze of streets in Indra Chwok, you will be immersed in the unique Nepalese culture from the get-go. Located on the India-Tibet trade route, you can admire the local traders, wander around the vibrant shops, and observe the beautifully crafted architecture.

  • Enjoy a morning tour around Bhaktapur including Durbar Square, the temple of 55 windows, the lion gate, the golden gate, the temple of Nyatapola, Dattatraya Square, and potter’s village. After lunch explore Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath stupa where you can join in the Kora.

Day 3: From bustling Kathmandu to Chitwan

  • Today you will embrace the natural wildlife of Chitwan. Enjoy an adrenaline fuelled jeep ride, where you can spot the famous one-horned rhino, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boars, and birds in their natural environment.
  • Transfer to Chitwan (this is around 6 hours over 165km) where you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to a Wildlife Resort in Chitwan National Park. After lunch, enjoy a jeep ride through the jungle. In the evening, enjoy an educational slideshow around this natural living wonder and savour an evening dinner.
  • Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and a buffet dinner.

Day 4: Embrace a canoe ride along the Rapti River

  • Today is a day of firsts! Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Rapti river in the cool of the morning, viewing different kinds of birds and animals.
  • Wind along the Rapti River in a canoe, before breakfast. After, enjoy hand feeding the beautiful elephants. In the afternoon, take some free time to enjoy the resort facilities before a guided tour of the Wildlife Park. In the evening, enjoy the dance of local aboriginal people followed by a dinner.
  • Enjoy a glimpse of the culture of Chitwan with the dance of the local aboriginals. During your guided tour of the wildlife park admire the bushland and learn about some of Nepal’s unique wild animals, flora, and fauna, adding to your cultural experience.

Day 5: From serene Chitwan to Pokhara

  • Today is all about watching and admiring! From some of the most striking agricultural land and exceptional birds, to a beautiful waking tour set along a tranquil lake. Be sure to bring a camera!
  • Start your day bright and early to catch a glimpse of unique birds and striking crocodiles! After breakfast, travel to Pokhara (around 6 hours over 155km) and enjoy a guided tour through Fewa Lake, a Tibetan refugee camp, and Devi’s Fall (seasonal waterfall). In the evening be escorted for a walking tour along the lakeside.
  • Learn about the history of Tibetan refugees in Nepal at the Tibetan refugee camp. On your visit you can embrace the culture and tradition these camps offer, while feeling as if you have been transported into another world.
  • Enjoy breakfast, a buffet lunch and independent dining at a local restaurant.
  • Enjoy a guided tour through Fewa Lake which reflects the striking mountain peaks in its calming waters. Embrace the magnificent Devi’s Fall which creates a 500-foot-long underground tunnel as the water cascades.

Day 6: An adventurous hike through Lumle Village

  • Today you will be blessed with tranquil views of lush green forests and a treasured minute village.
  • Transfer to Lumle Village for a soft hike through the Evergreen Forest for two hours.
  • Lumle village is a miracle of nature and a significant cultural destination. Wander around this poetic village where pilgrims travel through when reaching Muktinath Temple.
  • Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • All transport is included, today this is on a bus.

 Overnight in Kalsee Eco Lodge and camping. Here, weather permitting, you can embrace one of the best views of the Annapurna Himalayan range from your accommodation.

Day 7: A Day to admire striking natural beauty

  • Today offers dramatic views over the impressive mountain ranges.
  • Spend the morning embracing the magnificent views of Mt Annapurna, Fishtail, Himchuli, and other peaks of the Annapurna Himalayan range. After breakfast, start the journey through the forest toward Pittam Deurali and continue to forest camp.
  • The hike from KEL-Pittam Duerali is around 2.5 hours and the hike from Pittam Deurali to Forest Camp is around 4 hours. There will be an altitude gain of 1,150 meters.
  • Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 8: From Forest Camp to High Camp

  • During todays breath-taking hike, you will enjoy an outstanding view of the picturesque surroundings, including the valley of the Mardi River on the right and the Modi River on your left.
  • Adventure through the forest at an average elevation of 2,500- 3,000 meters in the ridges of Mardi Himal. The journey from forest camp to low camp is around 3 hours. From low camp to Badal Danda the journey is around 2 hours. Then from Badal Danda to high camp, this will be around 2 hours. The altitude gain is 550 meters.
  • Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 9: From High camp to Mardi base camp and Low camp

  • Embrace a breath-taking trek through the mountains of Nepal, where you can discover ancient rhododendron forests, and striking mountainous backdrops.
  • Today, start early in the morning to ascend the Mardi base camp (journey time of 2.5 hours with an altitude gain of 900m). After this, descend to Low camp (from Mardi base camp to High camp a journey time of 2 hours, plus a journey time of 2.5 hours from High camp to Low camp).
  • Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 10: Discover local life at Lwang Village

  • Today you will reach Gurung village where you can embrace local life with a homestay. The Gurung community has a distinctive language and mainly inhabit the western and central regions of Nepal.
  • After breakfast, descend to forest camp and Kalimati, before reaching Lwang village and Gurung village. The journey time from Low camp to Forest camp is around 1.5 hours, from Forest camp to Kalimati the journey takes around 2 hours. Finally, the journey from Kalimati to Lwang village is around 3 hours.
  • During your stay in Gurung village, you will be able to embrace the ethnic culture, customs, and traditions of the Gurung people.
  • Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 11: From Lwang village to Pokhara

  • Take the morning to immerse yourself in local village life. Seek locals to answer the questions you may have around the villagers’ culture and tradition, while admiring their daily lives.
  • Enjoy your morning exploring Lwang village, speaking with locals and experiencing the villagers’ farming activities. After breakfast, transfer to Pokhara where you will check in to your hotel and savour lunch. Embrace a free afternoon before dinner.
