Day 1: Bangkok Arrival
Arrive at Suvanabhumi airport, Bangkok. Meet your guide for transfer to your hotel. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Stay overnight in Bangkok and get ready for your Thailand trip!
Day 2: Khao Yi National Park Hiking
Enjoy breakfast. Travel to Khao Yai. Stop to visit the Klang Don fruit market en route and Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Thailand’s first National Park. Stop for lunch (on your own). Walk the Haew Su Wat waterfall trail. Check in at your hotel in Khao Yai for overnight stay.

Day 3: Korat Transfer, City Tour, Dan Kwan Pottery Village, Ban Prasat Archeological Site & Phimal Historical Site
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Travel north to the capital of Isan: Nakhon Ratchasima (known as “Korat” by locals). Visit Dan Kwian pottery village en route. City tour of Korat and stop at memorial of Thao Suranari (Lady Mo).
Travel north in the afternoon to visit Ban Prasat archaeological site and Phimai historical site. Visit the Prasat Hin and Sai Ngam. Return to Korat for free time. Stay overnight in Korat.

Day 4: Surin Transfer via Prasat Phanom Rung, Muang Tham & National Museum in Surin
Travel to Buriram today. Visit the Khmer remains of Prasat Phanom Rung. Also visit Muang Tham. Have lunch (on your own). Continue to Surin and visit the national museum (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). Check in and overnight stay in Surin.

Day 5: Ban Khwao Sinarin Village, Khmer Sikhoraphum Temple & Kong Jiam City Transfer
Enjoy breakfast. Visit the Argentiere village of Ban Khwao Sinarin and Khmer Sikhoraphum temple. Also stop at the traditional and little-known Ban Sam Kho village. Continue to Sikhoraphum temple – visit the 5 towers and central chedi, a special place of worship for locals. Then head to Kamphaeng Yai to explore this Khmer site. Have lunch (on your own).
After lunch, travel to Kong Jiam city to check into your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6: Mukdahan Transfer via Markets & Villages

In the afternoon, travel to Nakhon Phanom, visiting the village of Ban Na Chok en route. Arrive in Nakthon Phanom and check into your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel at edge of the Mekong.
