Day 1: Taiwan Arrival

Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), you will be greeted by a private car and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free for you to explore as you wish during your holiday in Taiwan.

 

Day 2: Explore Taipei City with an Informative Tour

Our tour begins at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, an iconic Taiwan monument in memory of the late President Chiang Kai-Shek. After this, we will head to the impressive Grand Hotel Taipei for a photo stop. As we approach this 5-star historical landmark, our tour guide will also give a quick introduction to the nearby Presidential Office Building – another iconic and significant sight in Taipei City.

We will then continue our tour to Martyrs’ Shrine, where you can witness the splendid guard changing ceremony – a must- do experience during your Taiwan holiday. After this we will end our journey at the National Palace Museum, an institution famous all over the world for its extensive collection of Chinese artifacts and historical artworks over eight millennia of respective dynasties.

Day 3: Discover the tranquil Sun Moon Lake

Start the day with an unforgettable drive to Sun Moon Lake, a must have experience on your Taiwan travel itinerary. This is in the middle of Taiwan and situated 762 meters above sea level in the soaring mountains of Central Taiwan. On the tour, we will take the chance to visit the famous Wenwu Temple, also known as Literature-Warrior Temple, dedicated to Confucius as Master of Pen and to Kuan Ti as Master of Sword. We will also visit the Ita Thao Indigenous Village, Xuanzhuang Temple and Ci En Pagoda to get the unique experience and the perfect introduction to the Taiwanese culture. After taking the unique round tour of Sun Moon Lake, we will check in at the hotel for some relaxation.

Today during your Taiwan holiday, you can also embrace the natural hot spring of the Fleur de Chine Hotel which is situated in one of the most beautiful lakes in Taiwan. Today you will discover Xiangshan Visitor Centre to soak up the last few minutes of the serene Sun Moon Lake, before making your way to Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery – the most famous Buddhist sacred place in southern Taiwan. Here you can enjoy an engaging walking tour inside the beautiful monastery, where you will get to communicate with some of the monks and nuns while learning more about the Buddhist culture.

After that, we will drive to Kaohsiung – the second largest city in Taiwan. We will make a stop at Love River to enjoy the beauty of nature and visit the vibrant Liuhe Night Market. Here you can purchase unique souvenirs to bring back from your holiday in Taiwan!

Day 5: Kenting National Park – Enjoy an Engaging Tour.

Today commences with a morning tour to Kenting National Park, located at the southern tip of Taiwan – a perfect way to start your day. With 37 miles of stunning coral-rimmed shoreline along three sides of the park, there is no shortage of beautiful views and spots to explore. Your tour will include fascinating destinations such as exploring Eluanbi lighthouse, where you’ll be able to see the coastline in its full glory, discovering Maobito – the perfect spot to capture some amazing photos of the coral rocks and the white sand it’s surrounded by. We will also make stops at Chuanfan Rock and Longpan Park, allowing you to take some fantastic shots of the soft sky contrasted with the glittering waves. We will then make our way to Taitung via the Southern Link Highway, admiring the mountain view the highway offers for a relaxing and enjoyable journey.

Day 6: Embrace an East Coast Tour

Today you will embark on a sensational East Coast tour. This tour is a journey that allows you to understand the amazing power of nature. Follow the trail of the 170km East Coast to explore the beautiful landscape of the East Coast National Scenic Area. From white sand beaches and blue sea water, isolated fishing villages, romantic cliff paths, large coral reefs, and lush jungles.

This unique tour will show you the wonders of Taiwan’s nature and culture. You will discover Xiaoyeliu, which is well-known for its unique rock structures and beautiful coastal scenery, uncover Sanxiantai where you can enjoy a picturesque view of rolling hills with incredible ocean views. We will also stop at Shitiping (Stone Steps), where you will be able to witness the Taiwanese history that still lies among the rocks. Then we will visit the Fanshuliao Marble Factory, one of Taiwan’s oldest factories, where you can learn about its history and traditional marble carving techniques. Day 7: Discover Taroko National Park and Explore Taroko Gorge

After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to the magnificent Taroko National Park. As we traverse the narrow ravine that was crafted by the Liwu River, which slices through mountains of solid marble, we will witness astonishing visuals of the forested peaks and towering cliffs that stand tall thousands of feet above us, while a roaring river crashes against gigantic marble boulders far below. We will stop to explore such renowned attractions as the Taroko Gorge Gateway, Shakadang Trail or Lushui Trail, Swallow Grotto, Cihmu Bridge and Changchun Temple (Eternal Spring Shrine). Our adventure will conclude with a drive back to Taipei, making a stop at Qingshui Cliff, before concluding our journey with a drive through Syue-Shan Long Tunnel (12.9 Kms). We should arrive in Taipei by 6 PM.
