Melaka in 5 Days: Culture, Nature, and Theme Park Thrills

Itinerary

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur Arrival, check-in, and free time

On Day 1, upon your arrival, our staff will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur for check in.

Day 2: Full day city tour of Kuala Lumpur

At 8:00am, enjoy breakfast at your hotel before being picked up at 9:00am for a full day city tour of Kuala Lumpur. Entrance fees are included for the Observation Deck at the KL Tower. You will also make a photo stop at the Kuala Lumpur Petronas Twin-Towers, Independence Square, Merdeka 118 Tower, National Monument, Kuala Lumpur City Gallery, Historical Railway Station, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Golden Triangle, Lake Garden, King’s Palace, and National Mosque. If time allows, you will also visit Thean Hou Temple, Petaling Street, and Central Art Market, with entrance at no cost. Don’t forget to take a photo at the River of Life before the tour ends at 5:00pm. Please note that lunch and dinner are at your own expense.

Day 3: Drive to Genting Highlands, Cable Car ride to summit, visit to Sky World Theme Park

At 7:00 AM, you will have breakfast at the hotel. At 8:00 AM, you will be picked up from the hotel and driven to Genting Highlands. At 9:30 AM, you will take a 10-minute SkyWay Cable Car ride to the summit. On the way, you will visit Chin Swee Temple, located on a hilltop, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. After exploring the temple, you will reach the summit of Genting Highlands and have the opportunity to explore the various attractions, such as the theme park, casino, and cultural exhibitions. The highlight of the day will be visiting the Sky World Theme Park from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. At 5:00 PM, you will be picked up from the Sky World entrance and driven back to KL, where you will visit the Batu Caves Temple. Finally, at 9:00 PM, you will arrive at your hotel in KL, and the tour will end. Please note that lunch and dinner are at your own expense during the tour.

Day 4: Drive to Melaka, Melaka River Cruise, visits to historic landmarks

At 07.00 am, we will have breakfast at the hotel. After that, we will pick up from the hotel at 08.00 am and drive to Melaka. Upon arriving in Melaka at 10.00 am, we will enjoy a 45-minute audio-guided Melaka River Cruise. At 11.00 am, we will have lunch at a local restaurant at our own expense. After lunch, we will visit Stadthuys (1650), A’Famosa Fort (1511), Melaka Christ Church (1753), St. Paul’s Hill & St. Paul’s Church (1521), and Jonker Street. By 06.00 pm, we will pick up and drive back to KL. We will arrive at our hotel in KL at 08.00 pm and the tour will end. Lunch and dinner will be at our own expense enroute during the tour.

Day 5: Departure day

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the hotel before departing for the airport. Make the most of the time before the drop-off by taking it easy.
