Itinerary
Day 1:
Our bike tour will take you to the Issyk city and its surroundings, located 50 km away from Almaty. Ride your bike and admire the stunning beauty of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. Visit the Issyk Museum and the famous Issyk Lake, which is 20 km from the city. During the trip, you will be accompanied by an experienced guide and, if you get tired of cycling, you will be provided with transport. You will also have the opportunity to discover unique archaeological complexes of the Issyk burial ground, such as the famous ‘Golden Man’, which has become an integral part of the symbolism and is represented in many cities of Kazakhstan, including Almaty’s main square. Enjoy the beauty of Lake Issyk at an altitude of 1760 meters above sea level, surrounded by dense forests and alpine meadows. You will be able to spot a variety of endangered plants and animals, such as marals, mountain goats, wolves, lynxes, bears and leopards, as well as rainbow trout in the cold and clean water. This tour is suitable for everyone who wants to explore the history and beauty of the Kazakh region.
