Itinerary
First, you should pay a visit to the A-Ma Temple, dedicated to the Sea Goddess Matsu and located at the heart of Macau. It is one of the most revered temples in the city and a must-visit for visitors. Another historic religious site you should visit is the Na Tcha Temple, a short walk away from the A-Ma temple.
After exploring Macau’s historic heritage, head over for a traditional Macanese meal. This traditional cuisine takes influences from both Portuguese and Chinese cooking and offers unique flavours and dishes. Also, don’t miss out on trying the local Portuguese egg tart.
Next, pay a visit to some of Macau’s cultural landmarks such as Mandarin’s House, St. Lawrence’s Church, D. Pedro V. Theatre, St. Dominic’s Church, St. Augustine’s Church, and Leal Senado. These are all excellent sites to learn more about the city’s history and cultural heritage.
