Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh City, visit Cai Be & Tan Phong Island – fruit picking, music & cooking, stay in Can Tho
In the morning, you will be picked up at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and driven to Mekong. After two and a half hours, you will arrive at Cai Be pier, where you’ll enjoy a boat trip to visit the Cai Be floating market and observe the handicraft industries. You will then go to Tan Phong Island, where you can pick and taste some of the local fruits, such as durian, rambutan, longan, and plum. Afterwards, you will go to Mr. Nam On to learn about traditional instruments and enjoy a folk song show. Following this experience, you will take a sampan to the Mekong Ecolodge, where you’ll participate in a cooking class before enjoying a lunch. You will then have some free time to rest and explore the area. In the evening, return to the pier and drive to Can Tho, the capital of Mekong Delta. After checking into your hotel, you can walk around the nearby Can Tho night market in Ninh Kieu Pier. Spend the night in Can Tho.
